Sept 9, 2020 – Last Day to Order All Flavors Except Original VCT

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ALL US CUSTOMERS:

As many of you are aware, recent amendments to the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (Section 910) require all e-liquid manufacturers to apply for FDA approval in order to continue selling products to customers in the United States after September 9, 2020.

The application required by the FDA is called a PMTA (Premarket Tobacco Product Application) and must be submitted for each individual flavor that a manufacturer wishes to sell in the US.

Ripe Vapes has been in the process of preparing a PMTA for our best-selling flavor, VCT. This application covers VCT Handcrafted Joose (Original Flavor) but does not include any other variations of VCT or any other flavors that we currently sell. This will allow us a grace period during which we may continue to sell VCT in the US while our application is under review by the FDA. We estimate that the review process will take approximately 1 year. After the review is complete, we hope to receive an approval allowing us to continue selling VCT.

As the cost of the application process is extremely high, we are only capable of producing an application for a single flavor, and have chosen VCT as it is our most popular. Therefore, we regret to inform you that September 9, 2020 will be the last day we can legally sell or ship any flavor besides VCT to anyone currently residing within the United States. After this point, these flavors will only ship internationally and will only be available to customers outside of the US.

Unfortunately this includes many flavors that our customers have known and loved for years, such as Pear Almond, Key Lime Cookie, and Monkey Snack, as well as our full line of Handcrafted Saltz. We apologize to those of you who prefer these flavors and hope that you may consider switching to VCT, as this is the only flavor we will have to offer. For those of you who prefer not to make this switch or are able to quit entirely, we thank you for your many years of loyal support and wish you all the best.
